Technical Capability

Connecting Systems, Work Execution and Asset Decisions

ETS brings practical technical capability across maintenance systems, asset data, operational reporting and work execution tools

Our focus is not software implementation for its own sake. We configure, integrate and improve systems so they support better work management, stronger lifecycle decisions and measurable operational performance improvement

CMMS and EAM Implementation, Optimisation and Uplift

ETS supports the setup, improvement and practical use of maintenance management systems across asset-intensive operations

This includes:

  • CMMS implementation and transition planning
  • Asset hierarchy and master data structuring
  • Preventive maintenance strategy loading
  • Work order design and workflow optimisation
  • Cost coding and equipment-level cost visibility
  • Spares, inventory and purchasing process alignment
  • Governance rules to keep asset data clean, usable and trusted

ETS has delivered CMMS transition and optimisation work across platforms including MEX, Maximo and Oracle eAM, with a strong focus on making maintenance history, asset cost, work status and performance data useful for real decisions

MEX and Microsoft Project Integration

ETS has delivered technical integration between MEX CMMS and Microsoft Project to improve maintenance planning, scheduling and execution visibility

This capability enables maintenance work orders in MEX to be synchronised with MS Project schedules, allowing planners and operational teams to manage work more effectively across short-term, long-term and shutdown planning horizons

This includes:

  • synchronising MEX work orders with MS Project schedules
  • enabling direct updates between MEX and MS Project
  • improving scheduling visibility for planners and supervisors
  • supporting better coordination of maintenance execution
  • reducing manual schedule handling and duplicated effort
  • improving confidence in work status, sequencing and readiness

This connects the maintenance system of record with a practical scheduling environment that frontline planning teams already understand and use

Asset Data Architecture and Master Data Governance

Good digital enablement depends on solid asset data foundations

ETS supports clients to structure asset information so it can be trusted, maintained and used across maintenance, operations, engineering and finance

This includes:

  • Asset hierarchy design
  • Equipment naming and classification logic
  • Asset criticality and intervention logic
  • Master data quality rules
  • Job plan and task list structure
  • Maintenance strategy data loading
  • Change control and governance processes

This foundation allows CMMS, reporting, analytics and lifecycle models to operate from a consistent asset view

Operational, Maintenance and Financial Data Integration

ETS helps clients connect information across systems that are often isolated from each other.

Typical data sources include:

  • CMMS and EAM systems
  • SCADA and historian data
  • Condition monitoring systems
  • Terminal automation systems
  • Finance and ERP platforms
  • Supply chain and inventory systems
  • Operator logs and local data sources
  • Third-party APIs

The purpose is to move from fragmented reporting to a structured decision layer where operational performance, maintenance activity and financial outcomes can be understood together

Power BI, Azure and Fabric-Enabled Data Foundations

ETS has in-house capability in Power BI, Microsoft data environments and asset performance analytics

We develop practical reporting and data enablement foundations using Power BI, Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric-enabled architecture where appropriate to the client’s systems, data maturity and operating model

Our focus is not simply building dashboards. ETS develops trusted, maintainable data models that connect maintenance, operational, asset and financial information into decision-grade reporting and analytics

This capability includes:

  • Power BI reporting models and dashboards
  • Semantic models, structured measures and performance logic
  • Automated data refresh and scheduled reporting updates
  • Integration of CMMS, operational, financial and asset data
  • Data transformation, validation and quality checks
  • Azure or Fabric-enabled data staging and storage environments
  • Repeatable data pipelines for reporting and analytics
  • Controlled access to performance reporting across teams
  • Scalable foundations for forecasting, optimisation and AI-enabled decision support

The objective is to create a reliable pathway from source systems through to usable insight, allowing client teams to see work execution, asset health, cost, risk and performance in a more connected way

Targeted Algorithms and Decision Logic

Where the data foundation is mature enough, ETS supports the development of targeted models, algorithms and decision logic to improve asset performance and lifecycle decision-making

This can include:

  • early identification of emerging risks
  • failure pattern recognition
  • leading indicator development
  • asset health forecasting
  • maintenance timing optimisation
  • intervention prioritisation
  • lifecycle risk and cost modelling

This capability supports the shift from reactive reporting to proactive decision support

Practical Delivery and Capability Transfer

ETS stays close to the work so technical solutions become practical operational tools.

We work with planners, engineers, maintainers, operators and leaders to make sure systems, reports and workflows fit the operating rhythm of the business.

This includes:

  • user testing and workflow validation
  • planner and supervisor training
  • reporting adoption support
  • governance routines
  • coaching and capability transfer
  • embedded support through transition and go-live

The objective is to leave clients with systems and tools that are used, trusted and sustained
